My approach to teaching is rooted in guiding students out of pain through energetic alignment, breath work, postural integrity and mindfulness practices. Yoga practices gave me the tools to heal and move into a life of joy and wellness and it is with this belief in the healing power of yoga that I serve Seekers to find their way to health.

These days I am drawn intensely to the exploration of nurturing and nutritious movement in my body, from restorative yoga practices, mindful movement as well as dynamic practices like vinyasa yoga and Pilates. I always return to my home base of the Ashtanga Yoga series with a deeper understanding of movement and a more open mind for guiding others.

Dedicated daily Ashtanga practice has been my companion, deepest healer, guide and support through my journey as a student and teacher in the practices of yoga since 1998 under the guidance of my beloved teacher Nancy Gilgoff. My close relationship with Nancy for over twenty years has helped me develop a sensitivity to energetic flow and impediment. Although my practice remains rooted at home, I travel to practice with Nancy and inspiring teachers Fiona Stang and Christine Hoar whenever possible.

Diving was my primary sport, where I competed at an elite level for 10 years, however I trained in gymnastics, ballet, basketball, track and field and downhill skiing. Today I am passionate about helping athletes learn to move better to support their dreams and reach their potential.

I am grateful to share my life with my husband of 18 years, two insightful and compassionate children, and two cats. The Ashtanga practice is a commitment that has taught me consistency, dedication and compassion, tools that I use every day while practising 7th series, the hardest series of them all — raising a family!

I currently offer Yoga online, lead workshops and retreats, Yoga for Athletes, Yoga Therapy, STOTT Mat Pilates, 1:1 Coaching sessions and mentor developing yoga teachers. I am available as a Guest Teacher for your training programs. Reach out to discuss how I can help you.
