Meditation has been used for thousands of years to focus the mind and calm the spirit. Research shows that meditation increases vagal tone, positive emotions and also promotes feelings of goodwill toward yourself. Other studies show that meditation reduces sympathetic - fight or flight - activity and promotes a sense of calm and safety. In as little as 2 minutes of practice the mind and body receive benefit from these simple practices.

Each session will begin with a teaching moment to anchor the practice. Next, students take a comfortable position, lying down (yes, you can lie in your bed if you want!), lounging on a couch/chair or in a seated comfortable position and the teacher will talk and guide you through a meditation technique, finishing with a short Q & A.

After this 4 week session you will have experience with different guided meditation techniques to manage stress, increase calm and support your wellness that you can practice on your own.
