What is Pilates?

Pilates is a physical fitness system pioneered by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century designed to improve physical fitness in people at every level of ability. There are many styles and methods of Pilates taught throughout the world and we teach STOTT Pilates, a contemporary approach that integrates modern principals of exercise science, fascial fitness and spinal rehabilitation.  

STOTT Pilates helps people of all ages to develop optimal strength, flexibility, endurance and posture without stressing the joints or building bulk through precise and controlled movements. STOTT Pilates is used by athletes, pre- and post-natal clients, celebrities, dancers, and everyone in between. 

A yoga mat, comfortable clothes and a small ball or cushion is all you will need.

1. Beginner Pilates - Summer Edition A Mat Pilates program for those brand new to Pilates that requires very little equipment. We start at the beginning and learn each exercise with proper technique and breathing. Appropriate for those brand new to Pilates.

A Mat Pilates program for those with some experience or have taken Beginner Pilates with me. Move a little faster, enjoy more repetitions and work on some intermediate level exercises.
